The written application is a crucial component of your application. We are a very unique learning environment and want to make sure we're a good fit for your family and students a good fit for Nomad. The written application helps us get to know your family and your student.
Nomad would like to be able to communicate with your student's current school. To allows us to do this, we ask parents to fill out the following form by hand and drop-off or mail the top portion to us and provide the bottom portion to your student's current school. If you are currently indie/home/micro-schooling, please notify our admissions team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A great way to understand your child as a learner is to hear about them from an educator. Please have one or two current or former teachers fill out our online teacher evaluation form - these are done online and do not need to be mailed in. By using our online evaluation form, you are waiving the right to review the recommendation. If you do not wish to waive your right to review, please email the admissions team at email@example.com. We will email an evaluation form directly to your recommender. The recommender will be asked to return their evaluation form in a sealed envelope with their signature across the seal. After the admissions process, the recommendations will be mailed to your home. If you are currently indie/home/micro-schooling, please ask an educator/tutor who knows your child as a student to give a recommendation.
If you would like to be considered for Nomad Tuition Adjustment, please fill out our 'Tuition Adjustment Online Application’ and submit it with your student's application.
A $100 application fee is due with your application. Application fees may be paid by check made out to 'Nomad Education' and dropped off or mailed to the following address:
